API Management Architect / Engineer

Job description

**Note: Looking Immediate joiners 7-15 days** Role: API Management Architect / Engineer **Key Responsibilities:** • Design and implement enterprise API management solutions using Azure APIM or Oracle API Gateway • Define API architecture, gateway strategies, routing, versioning, and high-availability setups • Develop and manage API proxies, policies, and integrations (REST, SOAP, GraphQL) • Implement security frameworks (OAuth2, JWT, OpenID Connect, certificates) and governance standards • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize API performance; ensure scalability and reliability • Set up CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments • Provide L3 support and handle upgrades, patches, and maintenance • Collaborate with dev, security, and infrastructure teams; mentor junior engineers **Required Skills:** • 5+ years API management experience; strong expertise in Azure APIM (3+ years) Oracle API Gateway (1+ year) (Good to have) • API design & development (REST, SOAP, GraphQL, OpenAPI/Swagger) • Programming: C#, Java, Python, or Node.js + scripting (PowerShell, Azure CLI) • Cloud & Infra: Azure, networking, Docker, Kubernetes, IaC (ARM/Terraform/Bicep) • Security: OAuth2, JWT, SAML, SSL/TLS, IAM • Tools: Postman, SoapUI, CI/CD (Azure DevOps/GitHub/Jenkins) **Preferred:** • Knowledge of other gateways (Apigee, Kong, AWS) • Integration & messaging (Kafka, Service Bus, RabbitMQ) • Monitoring (Azure Monitor, Grafana, Splunk) • Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills **Note : Looking Immediate joiners 7-15 days**
