Job Location: Khandala MIDC, Phase-II, Village Kesurdi, Tal.- Khandala, Dist.- Satara, Maharashtra. Designation: Industrial Engineer ( for assembly shop) Department: Industrial Enginerring Formal education & Expereicne: BE / DME (Mechanical / Industrial Eng ) with 1 year experience Roles & Responsibilities: • SAP Routing Management: Create, maintain, and update SAP routings, operation sequences, work centers, and production master data for assembly processes.Ensure routing accuracy in line with engineering changes, process modifications, and production requirements. • Standard Time Establishment: Conduct time studies and work measurement using estimation techniques and MOST methodology. Define and maintain standard cycle times for assembly operations to support planning, costing, and productivity measurement. • Process Planning: Develop and optimize assembly processes based on drawings, specifications, quality control plans (QCP), work instructions, and engineering requirements. Prepare and maintain process documentation to ensure standardization and operational excellence. • Manpower Planning and Capacity Analysis: Perform manpower estimation based on production volumes, takt time, line balancing, and capacity requirements. Support workforce planning to ensure optimum resource utilization. • Industrial Engineering and Productivity Improvement: Analyse assembly operations and identify opportunities for improving productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost. Drive continuous improvement initiatives through method study, waste elimination, and lean manufacturing principles. • MIS Reporting and Performance Monitoring: Prepare and publish periodic MIS reports related to productivity, efficiency, manpower utilization, routing accuracy, co-ordination and Monthly Incentive / Efficiency and MIS reports • Layout and Line Balancing: Support assembly line layout development, workstation design, and line balancing activities to improve workflow and resource utilization. • Continuous Improvement: Participate in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Productivity Improvement, Cost Reduction, and Operational Excellence initiatives. Defined competencies: • Knowledge of Assembly Process, • Process Planning, Time Study & Time Estimation, knowledge of work Study • Knowledge of MOST Technique • Knowledge of Auto CAD. • Exposure to Lean mfg. process • Knowledge of manufacturing process for engineering industry • Knowledge of SAP-PP Module and MS Office • Understanding of Ergonomics Perks and benefits: • Alternate 5 Days Working • Insurance • Transportation • Canteen
