We are looking for an Assistant Manager Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable to be a vital part of the Finance vertical**.** You will act as the primary point of contact for both the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions, ensuring smooth end-to-end management of collections, billing, vendor payments, reconciliations, and compliance. As a top-performing professional, you should be driven, self-motivated, and highly passionate about working in the Ed-tech space. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and a diverse group of professionals from leading MNCs such as McKinsey, BCG, KPMG, Deloitte, EY, as well as high-growth startups like BYJUS, Paytm, etc., to establish, streamline, and scale finance operations across categories and territories. **Roles and Responsibilities:** - Oversee the end-to-end Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions, including invoicing, collections, customer reconciliations, vendor billing, payment processing, and vendor reconciliations (using team members and consultants where required). - Ensure smooth execution of key KRAs including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, revenue and expense tracking, audit support, internal controls, cash flow management, and process optimization. **Accounts Receivable (AR) & Accounts Payable (AP) Management:** - Ensure timely invoicing, collection of payments, and processing of vendor invoices and payments, maintaining healthy cash inflows and controlled cash outflows along with accurate aging reports for both receivables and payables. - Monitor cash flow and liquidity related to receivables and payables, ensuring optimal working capital management and adequate resources for business operations. - Implement and maintain robust processes around revenue, costs, gross margin, and EBITDA reporting on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial reports. - **Audit & Tax:** Coordinate internal and statutory audits and support timely and accurate tax filings related to revenue, receivables, payables, and vendor transactions. - Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements, AR & AP MIS reports, and reconciliation statements. **What Were Looking For:** - Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA / CA / CPA preferred). - Proven experience in handling and leading teams across Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions. - Strong analytical, communication, and automation/process-improvement mindset, with prior experience managing high-growth environments (3x+ scale-up within a year). - Ability to plan, prioritize, and deliver on critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Experience in managing finance partnerships, system integrations, or ERP/accounting tool integrations is required. **What We Offer:** - Be a part of a fast-growing startup defining strategies for the growth of the company. - Partner in building a global Ed-tech company impacting hundreds of thousands of lives. - Phenomenal work environment with massive ownership and excellent growth opportunities. - A young, dynamic, and passionate team. - Industry-best perks. - Diversity & Inclusion**:** An inclusive and diverse workplace that values and celebrates diverse perspectives.
