Website http://renew.com **Job Description** Job Title: Assistant Manager - Land Acquisition Experiece Required: 4 years to 8 years Location: Badhla, Rajasthan **Job Purpose** To lead and manage end-to-end land acquisition activities for utility-scale solar power projects, ensuring timely identification, evaluation, procurement, and statutory compliance of land parcels required for project development. The role involves extensive coordination with government authorities, local stakeholders, legal teams, and internal departments to facilitate smooth project execution. Key ResponsibilitiesLand Identification & Acquisition Identify and evaluate suitable land parcels for development of solar power projects. Conduct feasibility assessment of land considering regulatory, environmental, topographical, and project requirements. Lead the complete land acquisition process from identification to registration and possession. Develop and execute land procurement strategies for new projects. Due Diligence & DocumentationReview, understand, and interpret Title Search Reports (TSR) and legal due diligence documents. Ensure clear and marketable title of land before acquisition. Obtain, verify, and maintain all revenue and ownership records pertaining to private land. Coordinate land registration and related statutory formalities. Government Liaison & Regulatory ApprovalsLiaise with Revenue Department, Forest Department, Gram Panchayat, Town Planning Authorities, Industries Department, and other government agencies. Obtain required approvals, permissions, NOCs, and clearances for land acquisition and project development. Coordinate with local authorities for mutation and land conversion processes wherever applicable. Site Survey & VerificationConduct land surveys and physical verification of identified land parcels. Coordinate site inspections and ensure clearance from revenue authorities. Assess site suitability and support project planning activities. Stakeholder ManagementBuild and maintain effective relationships with landowners, local communities, government officials, and other stakeholders. Resolve land-related disputes and acquisition challenges through negotiations and stakeholder engagement. Address issues arising during acquisition, registration, and project implementation stages. Compliance & AuditEnsure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and company procedures. Maintain proper documentation and records to meet internal and external audit requirements. Identify legal and regulatory risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures. Cross Functional CoordinationCoordinate with Legal, Projects, Survey, Engineering, Finance, and EPC teams to ensure seamless project execution. Support project teams with land-related information and documentation. Reporting & PlanningPrepare periodic MIS, land acquisition status reports, and management presentations. Monitor project timelines and ensure achievement of land procurement targets. Develop pre-project and post-project land management strategies. QualificationBachelor's Degree in Law, Civil Engineering, Agriculture, Geography, Business Administration, or related discipline. Additional qualification in Land Management, Real Estate, or Renewable Energy will be preferred. Experience4-8 years of experience in Land Acquisition, preferably in Renewable Energy, Solar, Wind, Infrastructure, Transmission, Mining, or Industrial Projects.
