Job Description : Job Title Assistant Manager - Liquid Commercialization About the Role Role Profile – Blend Specialist (Liquid Commercialization) Role Purpose The Blend Specialist is responsible for commercialization of new and the current blends for innovation/renovation/BAU as per the business KPIs in all the selected bottling sites. The role requires managing multiple complex projects liquid commercialization includes different alcoholic, low alcoholic and non-alcoholic liquids, . The specialist acts as a technical expert within cross-functional teams, influencing blending process development, blend calculation, BOM creation, blend optimization, and commercialization while ensuring sensorial quality and consistency of the commercial batches as per reference standards / gold standards. Required Qualifications Education : Master’s in: Alcohol Technology, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Technology, Bio technology or any other similar areas Experience ·       Minimum 5 years’ experience in: Distillery operations, Blending, Quality, Product development and liquid commercialization at large scale ·       Proven experience in leading technical projects through POC, commercialization of food and beverages category Key Responsibilities 1. Blending and liquid development ·     Perform blending at both laboratory and commercial scale. ·     Conduct blend re-engineering to optimize cost, quality, or ingredient availability. ·     Prepare and approval revised formulations for commercialization and 1st batch production ·    Manage liquid crafting / optimization liquids to convert concept liquids into commercial feasible formulation 2. Process - Distillation & Maturation Expertise ·    Strong understanding of spirit production processes: .   Distillation .   Maturation .   Spirit processing, filtration etc. ·    Knowledge of ingredients, additives, and maturation influences in liquid development. 3. Sensory & Consumer Insight Integration ·      Apply advanced sensory evaluation skills to evaluate new and commercial blends ·      Work closely with product development and sensory team for the sensory specifications of the commercial blend production ·      Understand consumer preferences into technical liquid solutions to replicate in the large batch of the blends 4. Commercial & Cost Management ·      Hands on in calculation of ENA composition and blend costing etc. ·      Work with Procurement & Supply Chain (PnC & Sourcing) on costing and optimization as and when needed ·      Approve e-startups for commercialization. ·      Provide startup and production requirements to BCC, unit and manufacturing. 5. Cross-Functional Collaboration ·     Work with multiple stakeholders including: .   Unit, Supply, Manufacturing, R&D, Procurement and Planning team 6. Systems & Governance ·   Manage SAP activities including: .   Blend BOM creation and approvals .   SKU and blend code creation .   Material code creation and extensions ·     Ensure compliance with governance procedures and C2C processes. 7. Inventory & Stock Optimization ·      Recommend methods for liquidation of old or slow-moving stocks. ·      Manage special spirit stock reconciliation through SAP.
