Key Responsibilities: • In partnership with Product, defining and executing the engineering roadmap for semantic stack solutions, including integration with bespoke or proprietary internal systems. • Shepherding the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and system design through to cloud-native deployment automation. • Collaborative R&D and rapid prototyping within the semantic space, working closely with Knowledge Engineering. • Architecting shared capabilities, in a shift-left environment enabling federated consumption across divisions and business units of S&P Global. • Ensuring systems are secure, compliant, auditable, and observable in-alignment with Enterprise standards. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. • 10+ years of experience in Software engineering, with minimum 4 years in roles focused on direct leadership of Software and Quality Engineering teams. • Deep knowledge and experience with container management platforms-based technologies in AWS. • Experience and comfort developing modern Python software (3.13+ minimum). • Experience and comfort implementing and understanding CICD/ IAC processes (GitHub Actions, Terraform). • Proven ability to lead and scale software, quality, and cloud engineering programs in complex, data-driven environments. • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate architectural designs and software components to non-technical audiences, including compliance, product, and business teams. • Agile mindset, with the ability to effectively manage through change and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience and comfort developing modern Java software (JDK17+ minimum). • Demonstrated experience developing microservice architectures and event-driven systems handling both high-volume and high-velocity data. • Prior experience with Resource Description Framework (RDF) data, SPARQL, and RDF-based triplestores is a significant plus. <p style="text-align:
