Job description

Location: Saharanpur, UP, IN OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE To maintain the vehicles to standards of Quality, Cost and Delivery that meets the Customer expectations as a minimum. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** - Preventive Corrective maintenance of locomotives. - Maintenance of underframe equipment. - Maintenance of Air supply unit. - Maintenance of brake equipment. - Maintenance of HVAC unit. - Maintenance of Roof equipment. - Maintenance Troubleshooting of Pneumatic Brake system. - Maintenance of traction motor assembly. - Replacement of Traction motor, Transformer other major equipment. - To report accidents/incidents. - To adhere to Company procedures especially in relation to Quality and Health Safety. - UNDERSTANDING WORK INSTRUCTIONS RELATED TO ACTIVITY. - Plan, organize and prioritize assigned responsibilities and work independently. - Inspect, maintain and repair as needed all facilities as assigned. **Qualifications Skills:** **EDUCATION** Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical from recognized University.(Regular Course) **BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES:** - Flexible and Adaptable. Supports team members - Take and adhere to all health and safety precautions - Be capable of accepting training in other skills **TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES EXPERIENCE** Working knowledge of Quality and Health Safety standards and systems preferable - 3-5 years of experience in rolling stock manufacturing/services
