Job description

Location: Saharanpur, UP, IN OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE To maintain the vehicles to standards of Quality, Cost and Delivery that meets the Customer expectations as a minimum. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Preventive Corrective maintenance of locomotives. • Maintenance of underframe equipment. • Maintenance of Air supply unit. • Maintenance of brake equipment. • Maintenance of HVAC unit. • Maintenance of Roof equipment. • Maintenance Troubleshooting of Pneumatic Brake system. • Maintenance of traction motor assembly. • Replacement of Traction motor, Transformer other major equipment. • To report accidents/incidents. • To adhere to Company procedures especially in relation to Quality and Health Safety. • UNDERSTANDING WORK INSTRUCTIONS RELATED TO ACTIVITY. • Plan, organize and prioritize assigned responsibilities and work independently. • Inspect, maintain and repair as needed all facilities as assigned. Qualifications Skills: EDUCATION Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical from recognized University.(Regular Course) BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES: • Flexible and Adaptable. Supports team members • Take and adhere to all health and safety precautions • Be capable of accepting training in other skills TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES EXPERIENCE Working knowledge of Quality and Health Safety standards and systems preferable • 3-5 years of experience in rolling stock manufacturing/services
