**Job Title: Automation QA Engineer** **Total Experience:** 35 Years of Experience in Automation Testing **Location:** Hyderabad / Pune / Mumbai / Bangalore / Chennai **Job Summary** We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Automation QA Engineer with 35 years of experience in Web and Mobile Automation Testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Java, Selenium WebDriver, and Appium, with strong expertise in writing robust XPath locators and developing maintainable automation frameworks. Candidates with Mobile Automation experience are preferred; however, strong experience in Web Automation will also be considered. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver. - Develop and execute Mobile Automation test cases using Appium for Android and/or iOS applications. - Create robust, dynamic, and maintainable XPath locators for Web and Mobile applications. - Analyze Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and functional requirements to design comprehensive test scenarios and automation scripts. - Develop and execute functional, regression, smoke, and integration test suites. - Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to ensure complete test coverage and high-quality releases. - Identify, log, track, and validate defects using JIRA. - Troubleshoot automation failures and improve script reliability and maintainability. - Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of existing automation frameworks. - Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives. - Support automation execution through CI/CD pipelines where applicable. - Explore AI-assisted testing tools and techniques to improve automation efficiency, test maintenance, and overall quality. **Key Requirements** - 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Automation Testing. - Strong proficiency in Java programming. - Proven experience with Selenium WebDriver for Web Automation. - Hands-on experience with Appium for Mobile Automation (preferred). - Strong expertise in writing efficient and reliable XPath expressions for dynamic web and mobile applications. - Experience in designing and maintaining automation frameworks. - Good understanding of Web UI automation concepts and best practices. - Familiarity with TestNG, JUnit, or similar testing frameworks. - Basic knowledge of API testing using tools such as Postman or Rest Assured is an advantage. - Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA. - Good understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and defect lifecycle.
