Networking: Strong understanding of VNet peering, DNS, firewalls, and hybrid connectivity (ExpressRoute/VPN). **Key Responsibilities** - Infrastructure Management: Design and deploy Azure Virtual Machines, storage, and networking components using infrastructure as a code method. - Automation (IaC): Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates using Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep to automate resource provisioning. • Cloud Migration: Assess existing IT infrastructure and lead the migration of on-premise services to Azure using strategies like lift-and-shift or re-platforming. - Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices, manage identity through Azure Active Directory (now Microsoft Entra ID), and ensure compliance with frameworks. • DevOps Integration: Collaborate with development teams to build and support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins. - Monitoring & Optimization: Set up monitoring and alerting using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics. Proactively optimize cloud costs through rightsizing and resource tagging. **Required Skills & Qualifications** - Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, IT, or a related field. - Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services. - Scripting: Proficiency in PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python for automation tasks. - Containers: Familiarity with Docker and orchestration tools like Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
