Senior C Developer | Linux System Programming Job Title Senior C Developer / System Software Engineer Experience 4 to 10 Years Location Mumbai (Client Location) Job Description We are seeking an experienced C Developer with strong expertise in Linux System Programming, Multithreading, and Real-Time Application Development. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing, debugging, testing, and deploying high-performance applications in production environments. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain applications using C programming. • Develop high-performance and real-time applications on Linux platforms. • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues. • Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards. • Create and execute unit, system, and integration test cases. • Review release scripts, utilities, and application code. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle. • Automate routine activities using shell scripting. Mandatory Skills • Strong programming experience in C Language • Excellent understanding of: • Pointers • Memory management (malloc/free) • Structures, unions, and bit manipulation • Memory leaks and buffer overflow analysis • Strong knowledge of Linux Operating System • Experience with: • System programming • Process management • System calls • Multithreading and concurrency • Hands-on experience in Shell Scripting • Experience in Production Support / Production Deployment Projects • Experience in Real-Time Application Development • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Preferred Skills • Embedded Systems Development • Microcontroller Architecture • GDB, Valgrind • Git Version Control • Make, CMake, Ninja • Static analysis tools such as PC-Lint, Splint • Unit Testing Frameworks (Unity, Check, CppUnit) • Secure Coding Practices Required Experience • Application Development and Coding • Design and Development of Real-Time Applications • System & Integration Testing • Test Case Preparation • Code Review and Release Management • Production Environment Support
