CFD Engineer

Job description

Roles and Responsibilities : • Conduct computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations using STAR CCM+ software to analyze complex thermal phenomena in electric vehicle batteries. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative cooling systems that optimize battery performance, reliability, and safety. • Develop and maintain detailed models of battery thermal management systems, including heat transfer, fluid flow, and mass transport. • Provide technical guidance on CFD-based design optimization for battery packaging, integration, and testing. Job Requirements : • 5-12 years of experience in CFD engineering with a focus on automotive industry applications. • Strong expertise in STAR CCM+ software for simulating multiphase flows, heat transfer, and thermodynamics. • Experience working with electric vehicle batteries or similar high-voltage systems; knowledge of battery technology is an asset.
