Job description

Structural Analysis & Design • Perform structural analysis and design of heavy industrial steel structures and RCC structures. • Design structures for: • Steel Melting Shops (SMS) • Converter Shops • Continuous Slab Casters • Blast Furnaces • Cast Houses • Stock Houses • Storage Bunkers & Silos • Beneficiation Plants • Indurating & Pelletising Buildings • Material Handling Structures • Transfer Towers • Pipe Racks • Industrial Buildings • Chimneys and Stack Structures • Mining and Mineral Processing Facilities RCC & Foundation Engineering • Design and review: • Isolated Footings • Combined Footings • Raft Foundations • Pile Foundations • Machine Foundations • Retaining Structures • Underground Structures • Water-Retaining Structures • Equipment Foundations Design Calculations & Engineering • Prepare detailed design calculations, design basis reports, and engineering specifications. • Review structural loading including: • Dead Loads • Live Loads • Wind Loads • Seismic Loads • Equipment Loads • Dynamic Loads • Crane Loads • Carry out stability checks and structural optimization. Software & Analysis • Perform modeling and structural analysis using software such as: • STAAD Pro • ETABS • SAP2000 • Tekla Structural Designer • ANSYS (preferred) • Nastran (preferred)
