Below is the detailed **JD** We are looking for a **Principal Azure Platform Architect** to define, own, and evolve our enterprise-wide Azure cloud platform. This is a high-impact leadership role with end-to-end accountability for cloud architecture, platform reliability, security, identity, data services, and AI enablement. As the technical authority and platform owner, you will set the architectural vision, establish guardrails, and enable multiple engineering teams to deliver securely and efficiently on a stable, scalable, and well-governed cloud foundation. 🔑 What You’ll Do - Own and drive the **Azure platform strategy and roadmap** - Define and enforce **enterprise standards, reference architectures, and best practices** - Make high-impact decisions across **security, scalability, reliability, and cost** - Guide architecture for **critical workloads** and balance long-term strategy with delivery needs - Enable adoption of **modern deployment models** (Blue/Green, Canary, Zero-downtime) - Champion **DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD automation** - Lead platform foundations: **landing zones, governance, subscription design, and secure defaults** - Drive **Zero Trust security** , monitoring, and cost optimization strategies - Act as a **trusted advisor** to senior engineering and technology leadership ⚙️ **Core Expertise** - Enterprise-scale Azure platform ownership - Containers & compute (AKS, App Services, Service Fabric) - Identity & access (Azure Entra ID, RBAC, Conditional Access) - Networking (hub-and-spoke, private endpoints, secure routing) - Data services (SQL, Cosmos DB, Redis, Storage) - AI enablement (Azure OpenAI Service, governance, cost controls) - CI/CD, IaC (ARM, Bicep, Terraform) 🌟 **Preferred Experience** - Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) - Azure Well-Architected Framework (WAF) - Azure certifications If you are actively looking for opportunities, please share your CV with us at **sreelatha.g@valuelabs.com** .
