Collections Manager

Job description

Role & responsibilities • Visit customers with overdue home loan accounts to recover payments and manage assigned cases based on risk severity. • Negotiate repayment plans or settlements within policy guidelines and ensure adherence to collection targets and timelines. • Educate customers on loan terms, payment obligations, and consequences of default while addressing grievances professionally. • Conduct field visits to borrower premises, guarantors, or property sites; trace skip cases and update records. • Maintain accurate reports of visits, commitments, and collections, and submit timely updates to the reporting manager. • Coordinate with legal teams for notices, SARFAESI actions, possession, or repossession activities as required. • Ensure compliance with company policies, RBI Fair Practices Code, and ethical collection practices. Preferred candidate profile • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills. • Good interpersonal and communication skills (local language proficiency preferred). • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Problem-solving attitude and resilience under pressure.
