Job Description Area Legal Manager - Gurgaon Key Responsibilities 1. Legal Due Diligence • Conduct legal scrutiny and title verification of property documents for Home Loans, Loan Against Property (LAP), and Affordable Housing cases. • Identify legal risks and recommend suitable mitigants prior to loan disbursement. • Provide legal opinions within defined turnaround timelines (TAT). 2. Mortgage & Documentation • Ensure accurate execution of loan and security documents and creation of mortgages. • Verify compliance with legal documentation requirements before loan disbursement. • Support Operations and Sales teams in resolving documentation-related issues and deficiencies. • Monitor registration processes and ensure safekeeping of original property documents. Preferred Candidate Profile • LLB/LLM from a recognized university. • 5 - 07years of experience in legal due diligence and mortgage documentation, preferably in Housing Finance, NBFC, or Banking sectors. • Strong understanding of property laws, registration processes, and title verification. • Good analytical, drafting, and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to manage multiple cases while adhering to strict TATs.
