**Role Description** This is a full-time, on-site role for a Consultant – Investment Promotion based in Shillong. The Consultant will support investment promotion initiatives by analyzing sectoral opportunities, developing financial and investment proposals, and preparing briefing notes, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. The role involves engaging with investors, government departments, and industry bodies to facilitate investments, address inquiries, and provide data-driven insights. The Consultant will contribute to policy and strategy recommendations, maintain up-to-date market and regulatory intelligence, and assist in organizing roadshows, investor meetings, and promotional events. The position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams within KPMG to ensure high-quality, timely delivery of advisory and documentation. **Qualifications** - MBA Finance - Strong finance and investment capabilities, including Finance, Investments, and Investment Strategies. - Solid financial planning and advisory skills, including Financial Planning and related analytical competencies. - Ability to deliver high-quality stakeholder and investor support, including Customer Service and relationship management skills. - Relevant academic background, preferably in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline. - Experience in investment promotion, consulting, or financial services, ideally with exposure to government or public sector projects. - Proficiency in data analysis, report writing, and preparation of professional presentations and proposals. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. - High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and within team structures.
