Job Description Data Governance Architect, Collibra We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Architect who will lead the overall architecture, design, & Implementation of enterprise Data Governance platform using Collibra. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in metadata modelling & management, Collibra administration, Collibra overall platform, integration & workflow management along with deep understanding of data governance processes. Responsibilities • Take end-to-end ownership of system integration design, coding, testing, and deployment. • Lead the strategic roadmap to scale and expand to ~100 enterprise system integrations using robust API, Logic Apps, and hybrid cloud integration patterns. • Architect scalable metadata ingestion frameworks between Collibra, Databricks, SAP MDG, Azure, and ERP databases. • Directly develop and maintain custom integrations using Python, Databricks, REST APIs, and Azure Logic Apps. • Monitor daily data ingestion pipeline statuses and act as the primary tier-3 troubleshooter for pipeline errors and metadata ingestion failures. • Manage and maintain Collibra Edge infrastructure, cluster topology, and Edge administration across hybrid (on-prem, cloud, VM, or Kubernetes) environments. • Own end-to-end automated technical data lineage stitching across complex system boundaries, legacy applications, and enterprise ERP databases. • Define and maintain Collibra operating models, communities, domains, asset types, and reusable metadata templates. • Lead the configuration of Collibra Data Governance Center (DGC) components, including Business Glossary, Data Dictionary, and Policy Manager. • Build and maintain core approval workflows, utility scripts, and automation tasks (collaborating with dedicated workflow specialists as needed). • Implement robust Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), security models, and domain-level data governance permissions. • Lead technical teams/developers, authoring comprehensive technical documentation, SOPs, and runbooks for enterprise delivery. Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications • Hands on Deep Experience on Collibra Platform and EDGE Server • Hands-on experience on Collibra Catalog & Governance Center, Operating model customization, Workflow/BPMN design, Collibra REST APIs, Collibra Connect (MuleSoft) • Experience in configuring and tuning Edge pipelines, Connector scheduling, Lineage rules, ingestion patterns • Hands on experience on Collibra platform and EDGE Server administration • Excellent documentation, architectural thinking, and problem-solving abilities. • undefined Preferred Qualifications/ Skills Good communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to lead technical discussions and governance workshops. Ability to work in fast-paced environments. Familiarity with cloud platforms: Azure / AWS / GCP.
