About Position: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer / Analytics Engineer with strong experience in Salesforce, DBT, Snowflake, and Fivetran to design, develop, and optimize scalable data solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building robust data pipelines, enabling analytics, and supporting business intelligence initiatives. Experience in migrating from legacy BI platforms to modern BI tools such as Sigma Computing, Omni, or similar platforms is highly desirable • Role: Data Engineer(QA) • Location: All Persistent Locations • Experience: 8 to 12 Years • Job Type: Full Time Employment What You'll Do: • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for data and application testing. • Perform Manual Testing and Automation Testing for data platforms and healthcare applications. • Validate DBT models, transformations, business rules, and data quality checks. • Conduct Snowflake Testing, including data validation, reconciliation, and performance verification. • Execute ETL/ELT Testing to ensure accurate movement and transformation of data from source to target systems. • Develop and run complex SQL queries for backend and data validation testing. • Perform Regression, Functional, Integration, System, and UAT Testing. • Identify, track, and manage defects using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps. • Collaborate with Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and Product Teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage. • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives. • Create and maintain automation frameworks and reusable test scripts. • Ensure compliance with healthcare data standards and data quality requirements. Expertise You'll Bring: • Experience in Quality Assurance, including Manual and Automation Testing. • Strong hands-on experience in Snowflake Testing, DBT (Data Build Tool), and SQL-based data validation. • Proven experience in ETL/Data Warehouse Testing, data migration testing, and source-to-target data validation. • Expertise in designing and executing Functional, Regression, Integration, System, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). • Strong experience with test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, UFT, or similar technologies. • Hands-on experience in creating test plans, test cases, test scripts, and maintaining testing documentation. • Ability to develop complex SQL queries for backend testing, data reconciliation, and reporting validation. • Experience working with defect management and test management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, and TestRail. • Strong understanding of Healthcare domain, including Claims, Member, Provider, Clinical, and Healthcare Analytics data. • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaboration with cross-functional teams including Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills Benefits: • Competitive salary and benefits package • Culture focused on talent development with quarterly growth opportunities and company-sponsored higher education and certifications • Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies • Employee engagement initiatives such as project parties, flexible work hours, and Long Service awards • Annual health check-ups • Insurance coverage: group term life, personal accident, and Mediclaim hospitalization for self, spouse, two children, and parents Values-Driven, People-Centric & Inclusive Work Environment: Persistent is dedicated to fostering diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
