The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL performance tuning and a deep understanding of SQL Server. This role requires a proactive individual who can analyze and optimize database queries to enhance performance and ensure efficient data management. Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases and applications. • Perform SQL performance tuning and optimization to improve query execution times. • Analyze and troubleshoot database issues, providing effective solutions. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement database solutions. • Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL). • Ensure data integrity and security by implementing best practices in database management. • Document database designs, processes, and procedures for future reference. • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to SQL and database management. Mandatory Skills: • Proven experience with SQL Server, including database design and management. • Strong skills in SQL performance tuning and optimization techniques. • Ability to write complex SQL queries and stored procedures. • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues. • Familiarity with data modeling and database architecture. Preferred Skills: • Experience with other database management systems (e.g., MySQL, Oracle). • Knowledge of ETL tools and processes. • Familiarity with cloud-based database solutions. • Understanding of data warehousing concepts. • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
