Job Description Deputy Manager Operations **Location:** Dankuni, Kolkata **Key Responsibilities** - Manage and monitor end-to-end shift operations at the sort center, ensuring seamless execution of daily activities. - Handle sort center operations with a focus on operational excellence, process adherence, and productivity. - Prepare and manage workforce rosters, including complex shift planning and manpower allocation scenarios. - Drive continuous improvement in key performance indicators (KPIs), quality metrics, and operational efficiency. - Lead and implement site-level operational initiatives, improvement charters, and process enhancement projects. - Develop and maintain MIS reports, analyze operational data, and generate actionable insights to support decision-making. - Demonstrate a data-driven approach by performing detailed data analysis, identifying trends, and recommending process improvements. - Resolve customer escalations within the defined turnaround time (TAT) while ensuring a high standard of service. - Monitor operational performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to achieve business objectives. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of operational processes and adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs). **Required Skills Qualifications** - Strong understanding of sort center operations and shift management. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and derive meaningful insights. - Experience in MIS reporting, performance tracking, and operational analytics. - Excellent planning, organizational, and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively. - Strong communication skills with a focus on customer-centric problem resolution.
