Design & Development of Strut, Shock Absorbers & Coil Springs

Job description

• Min 3 Years (AM) / Min 5 Years (DM) of relevant experience • Design, Development & Evaluation of Strut & Shock Absorbers, Coil Springs & Modular components (Bump Stopper, Support Comp) • Experience in designing & spec finalization of Strut Assy/Shock Absorbers & Coil Springs, knowledge of layout check, load calculations. Need to have experience on design & estimation of to achieve Vehicle performance. • Hands on experience in handling market/warranty complaints related to damper components. Will be part of team responsible for design/development of Strut, Shock Absorbers & Coil Springs. Would work on basic part related specification requirements, tuning, & local development & quality improvements of these parts. Adequate proficiency with QC tools such as 5-Why Analysis, Fishbone diagram, etc. for root cause analysis & countermeasure effectiveness checking. Basic know-how and understanding of CAD system. (UG NX/ UG Motion) & CAE simulation . Basic understanding about Suspension system, design aspects & function Ability to work hands on with Suspension system parts. Understand Vehicle dynamics and importance of Damper parameters on overall vehicle performance. Fundamental knowledge of regulatory compliance. Should have good communication skills & enthusiasm to take up stiff challenging targets. Experience of Project Management will be added advantage. Should possess lateral Thinking ability. Should have a passion for automobiles and should be aware of latest automotive trends in field of Suspension systems & Damper technology.
