Design Engineer

Job description

Key Responsibilities • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize design solutions for naval projects. • Perform structural scantling calculations in compliance with applicable design codes and standards. • Support CAD and Design Assistants in preparing detailed 2D drawings (AutoCAD) and 3D models (Siemens NX). • Review and validate marine structural designs to ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications. • Apply strong conceptual understanding of structural fundamentals to improve design efficiency and safety. Desired Skills • Sound knowledge of naval and marine structures. • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Solid Works and Siemens NX. • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
