Job description

**Role & responsibilities** **Role & responsibilities** **:** **Lead and manage general safety programs at the plant** **• Ensure compliance with applicable safety laws, Factory Act provisions, and statutory requirements** **• Develop, implement, and monitor plant-level safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices** **• Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across operations** **• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of CAPA** **• Promote a proactive safety culture through training, communication, and employee engagement** **• Coordinate safety induction and continuous safety training for employees, contractors, and visitors** **• Monitor safety performance indicators and present safety reports to plant leadership** **• Support emergency preparedness, fire safety, and disaster management initiatives** **• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure safe operation of equipment and utilities**
