Job description

Role & responsibilities • Assess and evaluate loan applications for individuals, SMEs, or corporate clients. • Conduct risk assessments and recommend approval, rejection, or modification of credit proposals. • Ensure compliance with bank credit policies, RBI guidelines, and regulatory requirements. • Coordinate with relationship managers, legal teams, and recovery departments. • Prepare credit appraisal notes and risk rating reports. • Maintain portfolio quality and reduce non-performing assets (NPAs). • Review collateral/security documentation and valuation reports. • Support audits and maintain accurate credit records. Preferred candidate profile • Strong financial analysis and risk assessment skills • Knowledge of banking regulations and lending practices • Credit underwriting and portfolio management • Attention to detail and analytical thinking
