Role & responsibilities • Take end-to-end ownership of project documentation from project award through final submission. • Actively participate in project kick-off meetings to understand customer documentation requirements. • Maintain document status in EDDI and Vendor Document Register Lists (VDRL). • Ensure timely submission, receipt, and proper storage of documents in Emerson systems such as document repository tools, Document Management Systems (DMS), or PLM platforms. • Prepare document cover pages and manage document transmittals between Emerson and customers. • Upload documents to customer portals or share via email as required. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (factories, project managers, engineering, quality teams) and customers to ensure on-time submission and approvals. • Review technical documents to confirm alignment with project scope and requirements before submission. • Manage customer feedback by preparing comment resolution sheets and coordinating with teams to address revisions. • Continuously follow up with internal teams and customers to expedite document submissions and approvals. • Provide regular documentation status updates to project stakeholders. • Prepare and submit Manufacturing Record Books (MRB) or final data books, ensuring alignment with approved indices and supporting milestone payment processes. • Promote a culture of safety by adhering to Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) policies, reporting risks, and participating in safety initiatives. Preferred candidate profile • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to engage confidently with global stakeholders. • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and similar). • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment. • Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail. • Technical literacy and the ability to understand and review engineering-related documents. • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively. • Confidence to handle complex situations and maintain progress under pressure. Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: • Exposure to document management systems or PLM tools (e.g., Windchill or similar platforms). • Experience working in global project environments or cross-cultural teams. • Familiarity with project documentation processes, including MRB or final documentation deliverables. • Understanding of engineering or manufacturing documentation standards. • Prior experience in customer-facing roles or coordination-intensive positions.
