Job Title: Electrical Engineer (O&M) Job Location: Gujarat / Kharkhoda / Manesar / Gurgaon Required Experience: 2 – 5 Years Required Qualification: B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (Full Time / Regular) Job Responsibilities: A. Substation & Grid Operations: • Manage and execute daily operations within 66 KV switchyards and 11 KV substations, including grid switching, line charging, and efficient outage recovery. • Monitor and analyze real-time data from SCADA systems, covering loads, voltages, transformer temperatures, and current, to ensure optimal performance. • Lead the response to emergency grid faults and guide black start procedures to restore power swiftly. B. Maintenance & Testing: • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on critical electrical assets such as circuit breakers, power transformers, and capacitor banks. • Conduct proactive predictive maintenance checks, including transformer oil health analysis, earth pit health assessments, insulation resistance testing, and thermography inspections. • Oversee comprehensive maintenance of solar plants (5MW and above), focusing on optimizing efficiency, maximizing energy yield, and conducting thorough root cause analysis for performance issues. C. Projects & Procurement: • Manage and contribute to electrical projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timeline within the O&M framework. • Handle procurement process for high-voltage equipment, including preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), issuing Requests for Quotation (RFQs), evaluating bids, and conducting negotiations. • Utilize SAP for efficient management of procurement, inventory, and maintenance-related transactions. D. Safety & Compliance: • Ensure all operational and maintenance activities strictly comply with industry safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies. • Actively participate in safety audits, risk assessments, and contribute to the continuous improvement of safety practices. Must have Skill: • Demonstrated expertise in the operation and maintenance of 66 KV and 11 KV substations. • Proficiency in using SCADA systems for monitoring, control, and data analysis. • Proven experience in maintaining large-scale solar plants (5MW and above), including efficiency checks and fault diagnosis. • Solid understanding of electrical safety regulations and "Permit to Work" systems. • Familiarity with procurement processes for electrical equipment, including BOQs, RFQs, bid evaluation, and vendor negotiations, with awareness of SAP.
