Engineer - FATP Process LNT/E-FP/1713074 • DEIC-L&T Precision Engineering & Systems IC • Coimbatore Campus • Posted On 12 Jun 2026 • End Date 09 Dec 2026 • Required Experience 5 - 7 years Skills Knowledge & Posting Location Continuity of Operations Minimum Qualification Post Graduate Diploma in Production Management (PGDPM) Job Description Roles and Responsibilities - FATP Process • Develop and establish FATP (Final Assembly, Test & Pack) processes for automotive products • Define SOPs, control plans, and work instructions as per automotive standards • Support NPI and ensure smooth product launch with PPAP requirements • Ensure full traceability (serial number, batch, date code) across assembly and testing • Implement and control end-of-line (EOL) testing and validation processes • Analyze test failures and perform root cause analysis using 8D/5 Why • Improve FPY, reduce defects, and ensure zero-defect mindset (Poka-Yoke) • Ensure compliance with automotive standards like IATF 16949 and customer requirements • Validate test equipment, fixtures, and poka-yoke systems for reliability • Coordinate with quality, design, and customer teams for issue resolution • Ensure proper handling of MSL, ESD, and critical components during assembly • Maintain detailed documentation (PFMEA, control plan, traceability records, reports)
