Engineer - Quality - Turbine Assembly

Job description

• In process and Final inspection call management • Customer inspection management • Training and skill development of subordinates • Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) for Assembly components • Inspection of turbine radial and axial clearances • Rotor travel inspection for final assembly • Roll and bump check for module assembly • Feeler check/colour contact check for matching parts • Interference inspection for assembly • Torque tightness check for bolt assembly • Hydro/ Water fill up/ Vacuum test for Pedestals and HIP Parts • Dimension and visual inspection of assembly components • Endoscope inspection for foreign material check for piping and intricate area • Caulking inspection for fitment • Surface roughness and painting Inspection • NCR management. • Organizing meeting with Cross function team for issue resolution • Quality improvement at shop. • Ensuring the Process and the Product Quality through regular Audits (Spot check & process audit) and its Evaluations. • Co-ordination of / Liaison with customer / consultant / Third Party for inspection. • Ensure compliance with OEM standards. • Inspection check sheets • Critical to Quality points • Pre-dispatch inspection check sheets • Internal inspection reports • Customer inspection reports and Quality dossier • Visual and NDT reports • Preparation of Instruction sheets for final machining
