Functional Role: Engineering Manager ; Summary : We are seeking seasoned engineering leadersto grow our engineering teams, scale our development release processes,and create world-class products. Therole will involve building high-performance software engineering teams anddelivering software to establish AU Bank as a leader in the digital bankingspace. Presenting technical delivery, partner management, multiple productmanagement, stakeholder management is a critical part of the role. Leadersmust be hands-on when it comes to addressing customer issues, code quality, RCA/ issue prevention and managing risks. ; Qualification: BE/BTech/MS/degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalentpractical experience. MBA or business experience will be preferred ; Department: IT ; Relevant Experience: • Graduation in engineering required with 2+ years relevant work experience as Engineering Manager, 6+ years of managerial experience • Overall 14+ years of exp Functional Competencies: • 14+ years of experience with 6+ yrs of management experience • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field • Driver - result-oriented leader. Passion for creating efficient, high-performance services and applications. Excellent work standards and highly motivated • Demonstrated track record in building and recruiting robust high performing teams • Specialist in full-stack development and product engineering. • Experienced and with on premise and public Cloud Technologies, DevSecOps and CI-CD practices. • Extensive experience in the following technologies: Javascript, Java, SpringBoot, Angular, React, WCF/REST API, MySQL/Redis/Elasticsearch/, AWS Cloud • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent oraland written communication skills (interpersonal and client-facing) • Demonstrated track record for solution delivery, Quality improvements, and Champion for agile scrum adoption. • Manages staff and assigns tasks to engineering and technical personnel. • Leads teams in the development of new products, solutions, and processes. • Maintains high level expertise in their field or sector. • Assures that processes meet quality and safety compliance guidelines. • Collaborates with other team leaders and departments. • Forges and maintains relationships with suppliers and customers. • Strive to delivery quality solutions, enforce engineering practices in teams. • Drive engineering productivity. • Skills in conceptualizing and executing projects from scratch. • Demonstrated track record in building and recruiting robust high performing teams • Lead multiple teams and deliver multiple projects simultaneously • Build and evolve the next generation of Apps, features, components, tools APls. • Designs, implements, and refines product development, testing, and s/w development process • Build secure cloud services which provide very high availability, reliability and security to our customers and their assets. • Collaborate with architects, product management and engineering teams to create solutions that increase the platform's value. • Create technical specifications, prototypes, and presentations to communicate your ideas. • Well-versed in emerging industry technologies and trends, and the ability to communicate that knowledge to the team and use it to influence product direction. • Communicates technical information to non-technical stakeholders, including investors and potential customers. • Strives to improve efficiency and sustainability of processes and product designs, and to reduce waste. • Helps to create and oversee project budgets and engages in cost management strategies. • Attends trade shows and conferences and makes site visits to suppliers facilities. • Advocates on behalf of team members by securing adequate resources for success.
