The Position **Job Description** As an Engineering Manager you will focus on capabilities development of your team members that align with the function’s vision. We deliver digital tools, drive adoption, and provide the support necessary to enable the entire workforce, wherever they are, every single day. The Team Lead Data Foundations & Governance is part of Workforce Insights & Oversight and, together with the team, is accountable for establishing and maintaining strong, AI-ready data foundations that ensure data is trusted, secure, and fit for purpose. The role defines and operates data governance frameworks, standards, and policies to ensure consistency and control across the data lifecycle. It leads data quality management, master data practices, and metadata management to maintain integrity and reliability. The role ensures compliance with privacy, security, and regulatory requirements, and provides the structures and controls that enable sustainable and scalable data use across the organization. This role will be essential in enabling the next AI S-curve by helping build a connected data fabric and enhancing the organization’s data foundations with rich business context, interoperability, and discoverability. By ensuring data is structured, governed, and accessible in ways that support intelligent automation and decision-making, the role creates the foundation required for an increasingly agentic AI world, where AI systems and autonomous agents can reliably reason, act, and generate value at scale.
