Job Title: Essbase Developer Position: Senior Software Engineer Experience: 5-8Years Category: Software Development/ Engineering Shift: Timing/rotation etc. details Main location: Hyderabad Position ID: J0426-1840 Employment Type: Full Time Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience. **Your future duties and responsibilities** Job Title: Essbase Developer Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Essbase Developer with strong expertise in ASO & BSO cube design, end to end cube development, and ETL processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining Essbase applications and supporting enterprise reporting and analytics solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain ASO & BSO cubes in Essbase Perform end to end cube build, deployment, and optimization activities Develop calculation scripts, business rules, and data load processes Work on ETL processes and data integration from multiple source systems Monitor and optimize cube performance and database efficiency Collaborate with business users to gather reporting and analytical requirements Troubleshoot Essbase application and data related issues Support financial planning, forecasting, and reporting applications Prepare technical documentation and maintain development standards Participate in Agile/Scrum project activities where applicable Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Finance, or related field 3+ years of experience in Essbase development Strong hands on experience with ASO & BSO cube design and development Expertise in Essbase calculation scripts and business rules Experience with ETL and data integration processes Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases Understanding of data warehousing concepts Strong analytical and problem solving skills Good communication and teamwork abilities Technical Skills OLAP Tools: Oracle Essbase Cube Development: ASO, BSO Cube Design ETL & Integration: Data Load Rules, ETL Processes Database: SQL, Oracle Scripting: Calculation Scripts, MaxL Methodology: Agile / Scrum Preferred Qualifications Experience with Oracle EPM/Hyperion suite preferred Exposure to financial planning and reporting applications Knowledge of performance tuning and cube optimization Experience in Finance, Banking, or Enterprise Analytics domains preferred **Required qualifications to be successful in this role** **Together, as owners, let’s turn meaningful insights into action.** Life at CGI is rooted in ownership, teamwork, respect and belonging.
