In this role as a QA Automation Expert, you will independently drive complex quality engineering and test automation initiatives across cloud-native, distributed, and AI-enabled applications. You will have the opportunity to build scalable automation solutions, solve challenging testing problems, contribute to automation and engineering improvements, and leverage modern technologies including Playwright, AWS/GCP, CI/CD, and AI-assisted testing to enhance quality engineering effectiveness. What you offer • 5+ years’ experience in Quality Engineering and Test Automation, with strong hands-on expertise in frameworks such as Playwright, Serenity, Pytest, Cucumber, or similar technologies. • Advanced proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript, with proven experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks using sound software engineering principles, design patterns, and code quality standards. • Proven experience automating functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing across web applications, REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-native architectures, supported by strong test data management and data quality practices. • Strong understanding of modern quality engineering practices, including BDD, TDD, Shift-Left Testing, Risk-Based Testing, continuous testing, and SQL/database validation across data warehouses, data lakes, and platforms such as BigQuery. • Experience implementing automated testing within CI/CD pipelines and validating applications deployed on AWS and/or GCP, with a strong focus on framework scalability, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence. • Practical experience leveraging AI-assisted engineering tools to improve testing efficiency and automation coverage, with knowledge of quality engineering considerations for AI-enabled applications, including model evaluation, reliability testing, and guardrail validation. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills with a high degree of ownership; experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Jira/Xray, custom testing tools, AI agents, or Asset Management and Financial Services domains is advantageous.
