Role & responsibilities • Responsible for the drafting of financial statements of the allocated assignments as per IFRS, ensuring that all notes and disclosures are complete. • Lead the allocated assignments. Develop strengths to lead the complex assignments. • "Support the Manager/Job In-charges to coordinate with the clients"/"Coordinate with the clients" at the start of the allocation and prepare detailed project plan and communicate / agree on dates and schedules with the client. • Organize and attend preliminary meetings with clients as per allocated portfolio. • Provide assistance and support to senior/AM/Managers on assignments as and when required. • Understand the client's requirement in detail. Discuss with colleagues (AM or others), organise ideas logically and present thoughts rationally and confidently. • Identify audit & accounting issues on a timely basis and discuss with the engagement team and the client. Identify a proper resolution of these matters. • Be open to discuss with the senior team members any technical or project management issues faced. Demonstrate collaboration. • Assist senior team members in preparing reports/ prepare reports on relatively simple engagements and communicate findings and recommendations to the client and agree with them. • Provide assistance in the client audit closing meetings. • Take ownership of self assessment, ensure to complete appraisal at the end of each file, quarter & year, be receptive and accept constructive feedback. • Understand and follow BDO core values; Ownership, Collaboration, Respect & Ethics and demonstrate exceptional client services (ECS). Preferred candidate profile • The applicant must be a CA Finalist with minimum 3-5 Years of experience or ACCA Affiliate with 0-2 year of experience or Part Qualified ACCA(10/13) with 1-3 years of Experience. • Good written and oral communication skills.
