Finance Business Partner - Tax & Reporting APMT Gateway Terminal India (GTI) Location: JNPT, Nhava Sheva (Navi Mumbai)Department: Corporate FinanceReporting to: Chief Financial Officer Job Purpose: The Finance Business Partner - Tax & Reporting is responsible for management accounting, business performance analysis for SG&A , financial planning, taxation compliance, treasury management, and audit coordination. The role develops, interprets, and reports financial and operational results to support informed business decisions, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting, taxation, and regulatory requirements while driving continuous improvement and value creation across the organization. Key Areas of Responsibility: Management Reporting and Business Analysis • Perform analytical review of Profit & Loss Account and Balance Sheet from SG&A perspective • Prepare and analyse Profit and Loss statement by Business Segment • Prepare Business models to assist in Business and financial decisions • Prepare Financial presentations for Board meetings and regional performance calls • Liase with Statutory and Internal Auditors • Review of Quarterly Financials of Associate Company • Perform Cost Analysis and share cost data with cost owners • Drive process improvement within Finance and other departments Group Reporting • Work closely with internal finance team and back office for timely completion of monthly financials • To ensure timely and accurate update of financials in the Group Reporting System • Coordinate and prepare quarterly rolling financial forecast (ROFO) • Coordinate and prepare Annual Budget • Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards and APMM GAP • Ensure compliance of Internal Financial Controls TAXATION • Direct Tax • Calculate, account for, and reconcile Advance Tax liabilities. • Support preparation and filing of Corporate Income Tax Returns. • Coordinate Income Tax Assessments and respond to tax authority queries. • Support applications for Lower Withholding Tax Certificates. • Manage transfer pricing documentation and support assessments. • Coordinate with the Country Tax Centre (CTC) on tax matters. • Indirect Tax • Oversee timely GST payments and filing of returns. • Oversee GST audits, assessments, reconciliations, and departmental notices. TDS Compliance • Verify TDS calculations and ensure timely payment. • Manage quarterly TDS return filings. • Generate TDS certificates and maintain compliance records. • Reconcile TDS receivables with Form 26AS. Tax Litigation & Advisory • Handle tax-related notices, litigation support, and departmental requirements. • Coordinate with tax consultants and legal advisors on tax matters. • Provide tax support for foreign payments and cross-border transactions. MONTHLY MANAGEMENT REPORT • Accounting for Interest payable and receivable. • Accounting for Corporate tax provision. • Preparation and updation of Tax related financial schedules. TREASURY • Cash Flow management – placement of surplus fund in Fixed Deposits. • Placement and renewal of Bank Guarantees. • Handling of monthly and weekly bank reconciliation. AUDIT • Manage Tax Audit and Transfer Pricing Audit processes. • Coordinate with Statutory Auditors, Internal Auditors, and Tax Consultants. • Support statutory, internal, tax, and group audits. • Ensure timely resolution of audit observations. • Maintain compliance with regulatory, accounting, and governance requirements. Stakeholder Management & Continuous Improvement • Partner with business leaders and department heads to support informed financial decision-making. • Support JNPT-related financial reconciliation, correspondence, and reporting requirements. • D
