Complete pre-certification Completeness checks, PeopleSoft GL to Cadency Reconciliations 2. Perform Quality Assurance Check (QC) on a selected sample of Balance Sheet Accounts throughout the MetLife organization during the QA certification cycle each quarter. 3. Perform detailed Quality Assurance (QA) Reviews on a selected sample of Balance Sheet Accounts throughout the MetLife organization to ensure policy compliant reconciliations after the QA certification cycle each quarter. 4. Partner with Balance Sheet Account owners to obtain support and document reconciliation issues. 5. Document results in accordance to Balance Sheet Controls standards. 6. Assist in other Balance Sheet Control projects or initiatives as requested by stateside team. 7. Analyze and research discrepancies and do regular follow-ups with LOB’s (line of businesses). 8. Ensure that the assigned targets are met in accordance with SLA and Internal standards. 9. Ensure that the quality of QA work papers is in compliance with predefined parameters as defined by Process Excellence. 10. Ensure adherence to established attendance schedules. 11. Review of the work performed by the Associate 12. Training of new joiners 13. Create and maintain process documentation 14. Create and maintain CMMI documentation 15. Provide inputs to internal Governance teams like MIS, Migrations, and Training etc. Education: Graduate in Accounting / Commerce / Business Administration with at least 15 years of education Experience: • 2 years of work experience with exposure to accounting and reconciliation is required as an associate. Experience required in accounting and reconciliation between General Ledger & Sub-ledgers is required. • Experience in creating MIS related to Reconciliations is required. General • Good computer navigation skills • Good keyboarding speed • Good knowledge of complete MS Office suite Process - Technical • Experience in various Reconciliation processes like Investments, Intangible Assets, Tax, Actuarial, Payables & Receivables, Cash, Check, Suspense, Inter Company etc. • Understanding of Balance Sheet Certification, Variance analysis • Understanding of Exposure Reporting • Working knowledge on Accounting, Reporting and Reconciliation applications like Cadency, Essbase, HFM, Oracle PeopleSoft GL • Knowledge of Lean principles is preferred.
