The role descriptions give you an overview of the responsibilities, it is only directional and guiding in nature. **About the role** A Financial Crime Prevention Manager for Investigations team is responsible for operating in accordance with defined investigations methodology and in close collaboration with business partners across the Bank and with external agencies (e.g. Legal and law enforcement). In this role, one will be responsible for conduct of interviews, take statements, gather evidence, analyse facts and prepare reports as part of the investigative process. They will lead investigations or be part of an investigative team for larger or more complex investigations as well as collaborate closely with the other stakeholders to ensure timely and consistent case investigations **Key Responsibilities** **Investigation:** Conduct investigation in a time bound manner into suspected fraudulent transactions/loans, customer complaints etc or other irregularities is a key requirement in this role. Gather and analyse evidence, interview the witness and the suspected employees/ relevant persons and document the said findings. Identify potential areas of process improvement/vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions etc. **Compliance:** Ensure adherence to banking regulations, laws and other statutory bodies. Stay abreast of the changes in the regulatory framework (RBI master circular etc) **Training and Awareness:** Conduct workshops and training sessions with our internal & external stakeholders to create a better understanding among them about the investigation of Bank frauds **LEA Engagement:** To collaborate with law enforcement agencies for registration of FIR towards the frauds investigated by the FCPG Investigation Team, including internal frauds. To ensure that the culprits are arrested and are charge sheeted. To ensure representation to the Law enforcement agencies in against cases to safeguard the interest of employees at large. **Qualifications & Skills** **Educational Qualification:** Graduate (Bachelor Degree in Finance, Banking, Information Technology, Computer Science) and related field will be given preference **Experience:** Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role/ bank. The ideal candidate should have strong communication, analytical and investigative skills. Prior knowledge of banking regulations and laws is a plus. **About the Business Group** Financial Crime Prevention Group (FCPG) is a dedicated team set up to combat fraud. Objective of the team is to manage fraud risk thereby managing reputation risk of the bank. The unit implements preventive measures by understanding the entire life cycle of the product and identifying existence of risk at various stages. Cases which do not get captured despite preventive measures are investigated by the FCPG investigation team. Investigations team within FCPG handles investigation for Asset as well as Liability products. Both suspected and attempted cases are investigated with the objective to restrict the fraud loss by investigating referred cases and taking them to logical conclusion by maintaining TAT (Turn Around Time) efficiency for both internal and external stakeholders. Investigation includes Desktop investigation and Field Investigation. Various Business Groups within ICICI Bank refer disputes raised by customers about transactions on cards and suspected and attempted fraud cases to FCPG Investigations Team.
