Overview Prodapt is seeking an experienced Fortinet Build, Test & Integration Engineer to support the client account, delivering secure and reliable Fortinet-based network services for enterprise customers. The role is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of customer onboarding, solution build, testing, integration, and operational changes, ensuring services are delivered in accordance with client's engineering standards, customer requirements, and operational processes. Responsibilities • Build, configure, and deploy Fortinet security solutions, primarily FortiGate, for enterprise customer environments. • Perform customer onboarding activities, including firewall provisioning, policy implementation, NAT/PAT, VPN, routing, and security profile configuration. • Execute Build, Test & Integration (BTI) activities for new customer services, upgrades, and network migrations. • Perform customer Moves, Adds, Changes and Deletes (MACDs), reconfigurations, and service modifications while ensuring minimal service disruption. • Validate solutions through functional, integration, failover, and user acceptance testing prior to production deployment. • Troubleshoot configuration, connectivity, and integration issues across customer networks and client-managed infrastructure. • Prepare and maintain implementation plans, test evidence, configuration documentation, rollback plans, and as-built documentation. • Work closely with client engineering, service delivery, operations, project management, and customer teams to deliver successful implementations. • Ensure all activities comply with client operational standards, ITIL processes, security policies, and change management procedures. Requirements • 3-7 years of hands-on experience implementing and supporting Fortinet security solutions. • Strong practical experience in customer onboarding, Build, Test & Integration (BTI), and production deployments. • Good knowledge of: • FortiGate Firewall administration • Firewall policy management • NAT/PAT • IPsec & SSL VPN • Routing (Static, OSPF, BGP) • VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP • High Availability (HA) • Network security best practices • Experience managing customer change requests, configuration management, and service lifecycle activities. • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose complex network and security issues. • Experience working within ITIL-based Incident, Change, Problem, and Configuration Management environments. • Excellent communication skills with experience working in customer-facing managed service or telecommunications environments. Preferred Skills • Experience with FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, SD-WAN, and Fortinet security fabric solutions. • Exposure to Azure, AWS, or hybrid cloud connectivity. • Automation experience using Python, REST APIs, or Ansible is desirable. • Experience working in large telecom or managed services environments, preferably supporting client or similar Tier 1 operators. Preferred Certifications • Fortinet Certified Associate (FCA) / Fortinet Certified Professional (FCP) or equivalent (formerly NSE 4/5). • ITIL Foundation Certification. • CCNA or CCNP Security (desirable).
