Global Documentation and Lifecycle Lead – Standard Materials Hyderabad, India The Global Documentation and Lifecycle Lead – Standard Materials plays a critical role in ensuring compliant, efficient, and harmonized document lifecycle management across Lonza’s global network. This is an exciting opportunity to shape global documentation strategies, drive standardization initiatives, and support operational excellence across the material lifecycle. This is an office-first role. Working together in person supports close, real-time collaboration and team alignment, enabling us to deliver our best work. You will work primarily in the office, with the flexibility to work remotely for 20% of your time (one day per week). The full list of our global benefits can be found here: https://www.lonza.com/careers/benefits What you will do • Lead the global lifecycle management of controlled documents related to Standard Materials, ensuring compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements and regulatory expectations. • Drive the harmonization and standardization of documentation practices across global manufacturing sites for raw materials, chemicals, and single-use systems. • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve document control processes, templates, workflows, and governance standards. • Partner with Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Procurement, Supply Chain, and IT teams to ensure documentation effectively supports global material lifecycle management. • Champion process improvement initiatives, leveraging digital solutions and automation to enhance document control efficiency and reduce complexity. • Ensure inspection readiness through accurate, complete, and retrievable documentation that meets GxP, data integrity, and Good Documentation Practice (GDocP) requirements. • Monitor documentation performance metrics, provide stakeholder training and guidance, and drive continuous improvement through data-driven decision-making. What we are looking for • Experience working in a GxP-regulated environment, preferably within biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or related regulated industries. • Strong expertise in document control, quality systems, lifecycle management, and Good Documentation Practice (GDocP). • Hands-on experience with electronic document management and quality management systems such as Veeva, TrackWise, DMS, or similar platforms. • Ability to develop structured documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflows, and process maps that support compliance and operational excellence. • Proven capability to collaborate effectively with global stakeholders and influence outcomes within a matrix organization. • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Quality Management, Information Management, or another relevant discipline, or equivalent experience gained through related roles. • Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and continuous improvement skills, with Lean Six Sigma knowledge considered advantageous.
