Our mission is to enable sustainable and efficient access to space through cutting-edge engineering and innovation. Join a team of passionate engineers and innovators working on technologies that power the future of the global space industry. ๐ฅ๐ผ๐น๐ฒ ๐ข๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ฒ๐ Youโll contribute to our capabilities by designing and developing robust, state-of-the-art control algorithms for the most demanding operational scenarios. Youโll implement algorithms in MATLAB/Simulink and C/C++, integrate them within multidisciplinary HW/SW teams and carry out validation activities. **Key Responsibilities** - Participate in the design and implementation of the AOCS/GNC subsystem for a wide variety of satellites/spacecrafts. - Design, synthesis, test, implementation, verification, and validation of GNC algorithms. Derivation of requirements from system specifications. - Implement the GNC code into the Flight Software. - Develop high fidelity 6 DOF models and simulations for analysis. - Perform stability and robustness analysis. - Perform design, optimization, and reliability study. - AOCS/GNC hardware specification, selection, modelling, and simulation. - Develop software automation tools for GNC test case analysis. - Perform software-in-loop, hardware-in-loop, and Monte Carlo analysis. - Documentation of the developments, analysis, and test reports. **What we would like to see from you** - Masterโs in Aerospace or Electrical or Electronics or related engineering discipline. A Ph.D. will be preferred more. Industrial/Academic experience post-PhD will be given even more preference. - Strong understanding of Modern Control Theory, Rigid body Dynamics, and Classical and Orbital/Flight Mechanics. Exposure to MPC, H-inf, or Robust control is a plus. - Strong understanding of Mathematics, and First Principles of Physics. - Strong understanding of sensors, and actuators typically used for GNC. - Experience with flight physics simulations, and state machine design. - Software development experience in C/C++, Python, MATLAB/Simulink, and git. - Highly motivated to work in a fast paced, autonomously driven, and demanding start-up environment.
