Job Title : Scrum Master CSM Certified (Certified Scrum Master) Employment Type : Full-Time Language Requirement : Japanese Bilingual JLPT N2 Certified **About The Role** We are looking for an experienced and proactive Scrum Master with strong Agile delivery expertise and Japanese bilingual communication skills to lead and facilitate Agile teams across technology delivery initiatives. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe methodologies along with strong project delivery capabilities in enterprise technology environments. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to ensure smooth Agile execution, sprint planning, stakeholder communication, and continuous improvement initiatives. **Key Responsibilities** - Facilitate Agile ceremonies including : i. Sprint Planning ii. Daily Stand-ups iii. Sprint Reviews iv. Retrospectives v. Backlog Grooming sessions - Guide and coach Agile teams on Scrum principles, Agile best practices, and continuous improvement processes. - Drive Agile delivery using : i. Scrum ii. Kanban iii. SAFe or other scaled Agile frameworks - Act as a servant leader to the team by removing impediments and ensuring smooth sprint execution. - Collaborate with : i. Product Owners ii. Business stakeholders iii. Engineering teams iv. QA teams v. Program Managers - Monitor sprint progress, delivery risks, dependencies, and team velocity. - Support release planning, roadmap alignment, and delivery tracking. - Ensure Agile governance, process adherence, and delivery transparency. - Facilitate communication between Japanese-speaking stakeholders and global delivery teams. - Maintain Agile metrics and reporting dashboards for leadership review. - Identify process improvement opportunities and implement Agile transformation initiatives. - Support distributed and cross-functional teams in a multi-cultural environment. - Drive stakeholder engagement and ensure alignment on project goals and timelines. **Required Skills & Technical Expertise** - Strong experience working as a Scrum Master in Agile delivery environments. - Hands-on experience with : i. Scrum ii. Kanban iii. SAFe methodologies - Strong understanding of Agile principles, frameworks, and software development lifecycle (SDLC). - Experience managing enterprise-level technology project delivery. - Ability to manage multiple Agile teams and cross-functional stakeholders. - Strong communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills. - Experience with Agile project management and collaboration tools such as : i. Jira ii. Confluence iii. Azure DevOps iv. Similar Agile tools - Excellent stakeholder management and team coordination skills. **Japanese Language Requirement** - Japanese bilingual proficiency with mandatory JLPT N2 certification. - Ability to communicate effectively with Japanese clients and stakeholders in both verbal and written Required : - Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Mandatory - Preferred Certifications : i. Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) ii. PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) **Iii. SAFe Requirements** - 610 years of overall professional experience. - Minimum 2+ years of Agile delivery experience utilizing Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe methodologies. - Minimum 45 years of technology project delivery experience. **Desired Candidate Profile** - Strong leadership and team facilitation capabilities. - Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. - Ability to work in fast-paced Agile environments. - Strong client-facing and consulting skills. - Experience working with global and multicultural teams : - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline. - Masters degree is an added advantage.
