The Shared Service division (RIGO), established in 2019 and headquartered in Chennai, supports global and domestic entities across Finance Operations, Business Operations, and HR Operations. Role Overview We are looking for a highly skilled Principal Specialist RTR to lead and manage key General Ledger (GL) and month-end close operations. You will be responsible for enforcing financial controls, optimizing intercompany processes, driving automation, and accelerating global financial close cycles. Key Responsibilities • Financial Controls & Compliance: Ensure accuracy of financial statements by enforcing robust internal controls and adhering to IFRS/GAAP standards. Identify and mitigate accounting risks proactive. • Intercompany Process Optimization: Oversee intercompany transactions, resolve discrepancies, and align processes across global entities to minimize mismatches. • Close Acceleration & Automation: Lead initiatives to shorten month-end close cycles, create SOPs, and automate repetitive tasks using financial technology tools. • Process Standardization: Implement best practices across GL and RTR functions to drive global consistency and operational efficiency. • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for onshore leadership, facilitate knowledge transfers, and build robust backup management within the team. Desired Candidate Profile • Educational Qualification: Postgraduate in Finance or Chartered Accountant (CA). • Experience: 10+ years of relevant core experience in RTR/General Ledger within a Shared Services / GCC environment. • Technical Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience in ERP systems (SAP / Oracle) and financial automation tools. • Core Competencies: Deep knowledge of financial controls, intercompany reconciliations, process optimization, analytical problem-solving, and senior stakeholder management.
