Hyper‑V Administrator SME (VMware) Hyper‑V Administrator SME (VMware) Location: Delhi/Noida Experience: 5 years to 8years Interview Mode: Online Interview Interview Date: 11th Sep 2025 (Friday) Interview Time: 11: 00 AM to 1: 00 PM Mandatory: ITIL Framework Knowledge, Incident, Problem, Change, Service Request, SLA & KPI Management, Documentation and Reporting (RCA, MSR, WSR, Aging, etc.) Must-Have: • 5–7 years of hands‑on experience in server virtualization, with strong primary expertise in Microsoft Hyper‑V. • In‑depth experience in Hyper‑V architecture, Failover Clustering, Live Migration, Hyper‑V Replica, and VM high availability. • Strong hands‑on experience in Hyper‑V performance monitoring, tuning, and capacity planning. • Experience in VM lifecycle management, including provisioning, expansion, optimization, and decommissioning. • Working knowledge of VMware ESXi, vSphere, and vCenter administration (secondary skill). • Experience in server migrations, including P2V and cross‑platform virtualization scenarios. • Strong understanding of Windows Server platforms used with Hyper‑V. • Knowledge of SAN storage concepts, multipathing, and VM storage design. • Awareness of Active Directory integration, DNS dependencies, and virtualization‑related services. • Good understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management). • Experience working in enterprise / remote infrastructure support environments. Key responsibilities: • Provide Level 2.5 / Level 3 operational support for Hyper‑V environments. • Administer and maintain Hyper‑V infrastructure, ensuring high availability, stability, and performance. • Troubleshoot and resolve Hyper‑V cluster, VM, storage, and performance issues. • Manage Hyper‑V Failover Clusters, Live Migration, and replication scenarios. • Perform VM provisioning, capacity management, and performance optimization. • Support server migrations (P2V and virtualization refresh activities). • Provide secondary support for VMware environments as required. • Monitor virtualization platforms and proactively address capacity or performance risks. • Participate in change, release, and maintenance activities related to virtualization platforms. • Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, architecture diagrams, and runbooks. • Drive standardization, optimization, and automation initiatives in virtualization operations. 15 years of Continuous Education.
