Illumio Zero Trust Network Engineer

**Role Overview:** We are seeking a highly skilled Illumio Zero Trust Network Engineer with strong expertise in microsegmentation and Zero Trust architecture implementation. The engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Illumio-based solutions to enhance security posture, reduce attack surfaces, and ensure secure application and workload communications. **Key Responsibilities:** Design and implement Illumio Core / Edge solutions for Zero Trust microsegmentation. Lead end-to-end deployment and integration with existing network and security infrastructure. Develop and enforce microsegmentation policies based on applications, workloads, and business requirements. Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to align Zero Trust strategy. Troubleshoot, optimize, and provide ongoing support for Illumio environments. Create and maintain technical documentation, policies, and best practices. **Required Skills & Experience:** 10+ years of experience in network security, with at least 6+ years of hands-on Illumio implementation. Strong expertise in Zero Trust Network Architecture (ZTNA) and microsegmentation. Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, and enterprise network security. Experience integrating Illumio with hybrid environments (cloud, on-prem, containers). Familiarity with regulatory/compliance requirements (PCI, HIPAA, etc.) is a plus. Strong troubleshooting and communication skills. **Preferred Certifications:** Illumio Certified Engineer (ICE) or equivalent. CISSP, CCNP Security, or other security certifications.
