Instrumentation Operations Technician

Job description

- Install, calibrate, inspect, and maintain field instruments including transmitters, sensors, control valves, analyzers, and pressure gauges. - Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure the accuracy and reliability of instrumentation systems. - Troubleshoot instrumentation faults using diagnostic tools, technical drawings, and calibration procedures. - Support plant operations by ensuring process control instruments function within specified operating limits. - Coordinate with DCS operators and maintenance personnel during equipment commissioning, shutdowns, and troubleshooting activities. - Follow safety standards, permit-to-work procedures, and calibration protocols while executing maintenance activities. - Maintain calibration records, maintenance logs, inspection reports, and instrument history documentation. - Recommend improvements to enhance instrumentation reliability, process efficiency, and equipment availability.
