Role Summary We are seeking an experienced Engineering & Inventory Architect with a strong Telecom OSS/BSS background to lead the architecture, design, and transformation of telecom inventory and engineering systems. The candidate will drive inventory strategy, service and resource modeling, OSS integration, and modernization initiatives for telecom operators and service providers. Key Responsibilities • Define architecture for Network Inventory, Service Inventory, and Resource Inventory platforms. • Design scalable OSS solutions supporting service fulfillment, activation, assurance, and network engineering processes. • Develop inventory data models, integration architectures, and governance frameworks. • Lead OSS transformation and modernization programs leveraging cloud-native technologies. • Define TM Forum Open API-based integrations across OSS/BSS ecosystems. • Drive inventory reconciliation, synchronization, and data quality initiatives. • Collaborate with customers, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. • Provide technical leadership, architecture governance, and mentoring to development teams. Required Skills • Strong Telecom OSS/BSS experience with focus on Inventory Management and Engineering Systems. • Hands-on experience in design and data modelling of telecom inventory systems, including network, service, and resource inventory domains. • Ability to understand inventory discovery, auto-detection, and configuration processes across network, service, and resource inventory systems. Expertise in: • Network Inventory • Service Inventory • Resource Inventory • Service Fulfillment & Activation • Telecom Engineering Processes • Good understanding of TM Forum Frameworx and Open APIs. • Hands-on experience with Microservices, REST APIs, Event-Driven Architecture, and Distributed Systems. • Experience with Kubernetes, Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), CI/CD, and Infrastructure Automation. • Strong knowledge of IP/MPLS, Fiber, Broadband, Mobile, and Transport Networks. • Experience with Java/Python, Spring Boot, Kafka, SQL/NoSQL databases. Qualifications • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology. • 12+ years of Telecom industry experience. • Minimum 5+ years in Solution Architecture or Enterprise Architecture roles. • Proven experience in Telecom OSS transformation and inventory modernization programs. • Strong customer-facing, consulting, and stakeholder management skills. Good to Have • TM Forum Certifications. • Exposure to Network Discovery and Reconciliation platforms. • Experience in Cloud-Native OSS modernization. • Knowledge of SDN/NFV, Network Automation, and AI-driven OSS initiatives.
