**Job Title: Java Lead** **Location:** Bangalore **Experience:** 9 - 12 Years Role Summary We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Lead with strong expertise in designing and developing scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will lead backend development initiatives, mentor team members, drive technical excellence, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Key Responsibilities - Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot. - Architect and implement Microservices-based solutions following industry best practices. - Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and Business Stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle. - Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure high-quality deliverables. - Design and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services. - Work closely with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, performance bottlenecks, and production incidents. - Ensure application security, scalability, reliability, and maintainability. - Participate in effort estimation, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies. - Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation. Required Skills - 9+ years of experience in Java backend development. - Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Hibernate. - Hands-on experience in designing and implementing Microservices architecture. - Strong knowledge of REST APIs, API Gateway, and Service Discovery. - Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ. - Strong understanding of Design Patterns, SOLID Principles, and Object-Oriented Design. - Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server. - Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or DynamoDB. - Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments. - Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Strong understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. - Proficiency in Git and version control practices. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Preferred Skills - Exposure to Event-Driven Architecture and Distributed Systems. - Experience with Observability tools such as ELK, Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, or Dynatrace. - Knowledge of Security frameworks including OAuth2, JWT, and Spring Security. - Experience in high-volume, mission-critical enterprise applications. - Relevant cloud or Java certifications are a plus. Soft Skills - Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills. - Excellent communication and presentation abilities. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to drive technical discussions and influence architecture decisions. - Experience mentoring and managing development teams. Educational Qualification - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
