Job description

Key Responsibilities • Backend Coding: Write clean, efficient Java code for data processing and system integration. • Database Management: Design Oracle SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance-tuning scripts. • System Integration: Build and support interfaces linking Loan IQ with external downstream systems. Mentorship & Leadership • Team Guidance: Act as a technical reference point for junior developers on the team. • Code Review: Review code to ensure compliance with standards and optimal performance. Required Skills & Qualifications Core Technical Skills • Java developers with 8-10 years of experience • Loan IQ (Good to have): 35 years of hands-on experience with the Loan IQ data model and APIs. • Java (Must have): Proficient in Core Java, Spring Boot, and multi-threading environments. • Database (Must have): Strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL skills, including query optimization. • Tools (Must have): Experience with Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD deployment pipelines. Professional Attributes • Domain Knowledge (Good to have): Solid understanding of commercial lending, syndication, and loan servicing. • Communication (Must have): Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. • Problem Solving (Must have): Strong debugging skills across multi-tier financial applications.
