Key Responsibilities - **Backend Coding:** Write clean, efficient Java code for data processing and system integration. - **Database Management:** Design Oracle SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance-tuning scripts. - **System Integration:** Build and support interfaces linking Loan IQ with external downstream systems. Mentorship & Leadership - **Team Guidance:** Act as a technical reference point for junior developers on the team. - **Code Review:** Review code to ensure compliance with standards and optimal performance. Required Skills & Qualifications Core Technical Skills - Java developers with 8-10 years of experience - **Loan IQ (Good to have):** 35 years of hands-on experience with the Loan IQ data model and APIs. - **Java (Must have):** Proficient in Core Java, Spring Boot, and multi-threading environments. - **Database (Must have):** Strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL skills, including query optimization. - **Tools (Must have):** Experience with Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD deployment pipelines. Professional Attributes - **Domain Knowledge (Good to have):** Solid understanding of commercial lending, syndication, and loan servicing. - **Communication (Must have):** Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. - **Problem Solving (Must have):** Strong debugging skills across multi-tier financial applications.
