Senior Java Developer | Spring Boot | GCP Experience: 6-10 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Trivandrum, Kochi, Chennai, Bangalore Job Description We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The selected candidate will design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-native applications, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and promote software engineering best practices. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot. • Build and integrate event-driven systems using Apache Kafka in a GCP environment. • Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices-based applications. • Collaborate with DevOps, Product, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions. • Ensure application responsiveness, performance, reliability, and scalability. • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and debugging. • Use GCP services such as Pub/Sub, GKE, Cloud Functions, and BigQuery. • Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and testable code. • Support containerized deployments and CI/CD processes using Docker and Kubernetes. Mandatory Skills • 5+ years of professional experience in Java and Spring Boot backend development. • Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security. • Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API development. • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, including services such as Pub/Sub and GKE. • Strong experience with Apache Kafka, including producers, consumers, topics, partitions, and schema registry. • Experience with asynchronous messaging using Kafka or Pub/Sub. • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases. • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. • Experience with Angular or React.js and modern JavaScript or TypeScript. • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Google Cloud Operations, Prometheus, or Dynatrace.
