Job Summary Evalueserve is looking for high-potential finance professionals who are passionate about equity research, financial analysis, and investment decision-making. This role offers an opportunity to work with leading global asset managers, hedge funds and financial institutions, supporting critical investment research and valuation initiatives. The role offers hands-on exposure to company and industry analysis, financial modeling, valuation, and investment writing. Analysts will also leverage AI-enabled research and productivity tools to improve research efficiency and accelerate information synthesis, while applying sound financial judgment and independent thinking to generate actionable insights. Key Responsibilities • Support Equity Research team of a global asset manager in carrying out research on a portfolio of companies • Conduct detailed company, industry, and financial research using publicly available information and financial databases. • Build and maintain robust Excel-based financial models, including historical analysis, forecasting, and scenario modeling. • Perform company valuations using methodologies such as DCF, DDM, trading comparable, transaction comparable, and other valuation frameworks. • Prepare investment research deliverables including company profiles, earnings notes, quarterly updates, sector reports, thematic research, newsletters, flash notes, and industry primers. Summarize earnings calls, investor presentations, management interactions, and industry events to extract meaningful insights. • Utilize AI-powered research and productivity tools, where appropriate, to enhance information gathering, analysis, monitoring, and content synthesis while ensuring analytical rigor and accuracy. Identify opportunities to automate repetitive research, data gathering, and monitoring tasks using AI solutions and workflow automation. Required Qualifications • Relevant 6+ years of equity research experience with master’s degree • MBA (Finance), CA, CFA (US) candidate, or equivalent finance-related qualification from a reputed institution. • Subject matter expertise with rich domain expertise (financial modeling, sector / industry knowledge, and in investment research) • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statement analysis, and corporate finance concepts. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce high-quality investment research content. • Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills. • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively in a global team environment. • Understanding of how technology and AI can be applied to enhance investment research workflows and analytical productivity. Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have) • Prior exposure to equity research, investment research, valuation, corporate finance, consulting, or asset management. • Familiarity with financial databases and research platforms such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, FactSet, Refinitiv, or Reuters. • Strong financial writing skills with the ability to communicate investment ideas and business insights effectively. • Familiarity with AI-powered productivity and research tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar platforms. • Ability to leverage AI tools for research, information extraction, summarization, and workflow efficiency while maintaining analytical rigor. • Exposure to automation, agent-based workflows, or technology solutions that enhance research productivity will be an added advantage. • A proactive "can-do" attitude, intellectual curiosity, adaptability, and strong ownership mindset.
