Product Specialist Lead Analyst- Index ReportTo: Senior Manager Department: Financial Services Location : Gurugram Job Summary Evalueserveis seeking a Product Specialist in our quant Index team who partnerwith clients across industries and functions, enabling them to make smarterdecisions, enhance efficiency, and deliver measurable impact on both top andbottom lines. Key Responsibilities The role involves working at theintersection of business, domain, and technology to design, enhance, and scaleautomation-driven products and platforms across teams. The ideal candidate will bring stronganalytical and problem-solving capabilities, hands-on exposure to productdevelopment or automation initiatives, and the ability to collaborateeffectively with internal stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors. Basic domain understanding of Indexproducts and lifecycle is required. Collaborate closely with businessstakeholders, product owners, technology teams, and external vendors todevelop, implement, and enhance automation solutions and platforms. Understand business requirements andtranslate them into product features, workflows, user stories, and functionalspecifications. Support product lifecycle activitiesincluding requirement gathering, solution assessment, prioritization, testing,rollout, and post-implementation support. Work with development teams to defineoptimal technical solutions, implementation approaches, and delivery timelines. Participate in User Acceptance Testing(UAT), validate developed solutions, track defects, and ensure timely closureof open items. Identify process improvementopportunities and recommend automation-led enhancements to improve efficiency,quality, and scalability. Contribute to product vision, roadmap,and strategy in collaboration with product owners and senior stakeholders. Identify synergies across existingtools and products and support the creation of a unified product portfolio. Ensure timely delivery of assignedtasks with strong ownership, quality focus, and attention to detail. Required Qualifications 68 years of experience in productmanagement, business analysis, automation, or platform-led transformationroles, preferably within financial services or Index domain. Strong understanding of the Indexlifecycle, including design, onboarding, backtesting, calculation, rebalancing,and reporting. Strong analytical and problem-solvingskills with high attention to detail. Experience working withcross-functional teams, technology teams, and vendors to drive end-to-endproduct or automation development. Strong communication and stakeholdermanagement skills, with the ability to engage effectively with business andtechnical stakeholders. Ability to challenge existingprocesses, identify gaps, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Demonstrated ability to manage multiplepriorities and deliver within agreed timelines. Preferred Qualifications Exposure to automation platforms,workflow tools, analytics platforms, or technology-enabled product development. Knowledge of Agile ways of working,including backlog management, sprint planning, and UAT coordination. Certifications such as Certified ScrumProduct Owner (CSPO), Agile, AI/ML, or equivalent would be an added advantage.
